After really enjoying the first Kingsman film, I was extremely excited for the sequel when it was announced. The second film follows on a year after the ending of the first. Eggsy (Taron Egerton) has settled into Kingsman: The Secret Service when their headquarters are destroyed and, along with Merlin, he has to travel to their allies in America knows as Statesman following the doomsday procedures. With the world under threat again, both secret agencies have to work together to help save millions of lives with a complex, action-filled mission.
The film has the right balance of action, humour as well as many heartfelt moments. Especially as there is more of a connection with the characters that the audience has known to grow and love. With a special celebrity guest star, lots of references to iconic moments from the first film, and awesome cinematography, Kingsman has every box ticked.
I thoroughly enjoyed the sequel and would recommend it to anyone.
